E class
Hi all.

i just bought an e class and at the time of purchase it wasnt visible that there is a rip in the drivers leather seats.

i bought it home yesterday and was sunny in an open car park and noticed there is a slight tear in the leather seats.

is there anyway i can get it repaired either by myself or taking it to a garage etc. i dont want to end up spending hundreds on it but what do you guys think.

i will try and put up a picture later this evening.

thanks

Unless you have experience, skills and the tools to carry out such repairs I doubt you would get a good result yourself. Depending on the type of damage of course.

It is a specialised job, a garage is not the place either.

Look on line for local automotive upholsterers and get some advice and quotes., small repairs are usually not expensive and often leave you with an invisible repair.

May be worth a trip back to the dealership, you never know they may repair it or meet you with some of the cost.

Do you have a picture of this? I just found a rip in the passenger seat of a new e-class. Completely unexplainable as the passenger seat is never used... Same as you the car has recently been in very hot weather.
