Looks like a mere fleshwound..

Not in the slightest

Sorry - still not very good at that sarcasm stuff.

Its getting some offers though!?

Hi, good luck with selling.

Some people will buy anything on ebay - I have a friend who has sold many second hand things at more than they cost new in the high street.

Based on absolutely no facts other than 7 years of owning R230s, that will cost a fortune to repair. Obvious starters - all front panels, lights, bumper, grill - that's the easy stuff - then all radiators & coolers, fans, SBC pump (that's where the hardest impact occurred), possible inner wing, suspension, labour, paint - at a guess way over £10k to repair.

But you are right, they will fight over it from a position of blissful ignorance!

He probably bought that back off the insurance company for around a grand...

It looks like it hit very hard to me. That really is stuffed in!?

The slam panel is pushed very far back into the engine bay. That would make me worry about how far back the the engine and gearbox moved (if at all). Shame it does look like a lovely car.

I agree.....that must surely have been an insurance write off?.....even in undamaged top class order it probably had a market value below £9k.

......donor car.

Mic

If they were fully comp of course?

That car is worth 3k i reckon. And even then you may get lucky and you may not!
