Snow foam

Ahhh black cars, destroy your soul during detailing, you just see everything.

And like you say, silver is so forgiving.

That’s not the correct link for the Bilt Hamber Auto Foam.

Here is the MSDS for Auto Foam, pH 13 as shown on page 4:

I wouldn’t worry about BH or most snowfoam stripping anything, well prepped, sealed and waxed car it won’t take off a great deal of product. Even less so if you’re putting detailing sprays onto the paint at the end of a wash

My alloys have been ceramic coated for two years and have taken BH at all sorts of ratios and it’s hardly affected it

They really do!

You have all of 30 minutes to enjoy hours of hard work before the dust settles on it, this time of year is just the worst you clean it one day and the next it looks like I driven through a hurricane. :(

I'm seriously looking at a ceramic coating this year whether I do it or someone else does but that's a whole other thread lol.

Ceramics are good, not as amazing as they are made out to be, you can still easily mar them.

Still need 2 bucket wash method and to be careful, they do stay cleaner for longer and are easier to clean though.

Be careful if you get someone to do it, most people haven't a clue, it's more technical to apply than they realise, watching two youtube videos and reading a few forums only goes so far :)

Oh yeah I have been looking into it on and off for ages slowly building the confidence and although you need to take great care it's quite straight forward.

They have become quite popular now and have come down in price compared to a couple of years ago Cquartz uk edition used to be over £100 now it's £50 so seems like a good time to give this a go.

The car will of course undergo a full detail, chemical decontamination, clay and MOP prior to application to ensure the car gains the most from it though I may have a practice on the missus light coloured 2017 Zafira to see how I get on :D.
