snow spray

car now gunk free now feeling calm and relaxed :D

Glad to hear that. :) Check really carefully though as my bro'inlaw had his car "decorated" with that stuff and it left a permanent "image" in the shine of the paint and the glass!

car checked twice doesnt seem to have left a mark:bannana:

Although it can sometimes resemble snow, the problem around here is with seagull droppings. It's not always possible to remove it immediately so does anyone have a good way of removing it when it's dried and is more like fish based glue??

Bird poo eats into the lacquer something chronic ...

If it's dried and hard it may be too late already , but you can soak an old rag in very hot water and leave it on the poo for 15 minutes or so , and it will soften it enough to come off when you wash the car ...

It certainly does eat in and it seems worse on the newer car with the water based paint! Thanks for the tip, I fear that I'll be trying that later today...

Only other alternative now that they're pairing up again for the breeding season is possibly a lightweight cover. Probably disposable as I can't see how that could be washed. Any recommendations gratefully received.

By the way are you near "The Anglers" ?

Keep a good coat of polish on the car, makes getting it off much easier :)
