The headlight wipers were the wrong ones,someone had replaced them with the xenon type but I don’t have xenon lights
So I got rapped yet again man their price seriously is daylight robbery

The white part was fading on the hazard switch so I had it replaced
No longer available at the dealer but managed to find a NOS one on eBay

The new carpets now added being that we finally got dry weather



Also added the extra wood on the console





Tomorrow some more fettling including having a look at the little storage in the dash as it isn’t sitting right as you can see

What a lovely looking SL. I approve of the ambers too. And the exterior and interior colour. Dream spec for me, that! I almost bought one of these years ago when prices were lower but persuaded myself that it wasn’t needed or a good idea. That’s a decision I still regret. Along with not buying a Porsche 993 when they were sub £20k. I don’t have a good history of making the right choice when looking at cars which subsequently shoot up in value!
