If you want insurance just to cover the legalities of motoring, go for the cheapest. If you want insurance that works when you make a claim, it's a bit of a lottery. If you are an optimist who will never have an accident, cheapest again, a pessimist, again a lottery All insurance companies are great until you make a claim, then you see what you are paying for. Just had a bad experience with an insurance company, not motor related, but they all do other insurance, and this was a well known company.

More Than, very reasonable price, I suspect they'll be much the same as them all - not wanting to pay out if you had a claim.

I had to make two claims off my household/building insurance through LV over the last twenty years or so. Both claims were handled professionally without fuss or nit-picking. When asked, they even sent a roofer all the way down to London to replace a few tiles that was disturbed by a storm.

They also happened to provide the cheapest quote each year during renewal.
