Hello. I’m wondering if anybody can give me some insight on wether I’m in need of changing my spark plugs (hotter or colder)
I drive a Mercedes CLA 180 sport, 1.6 petrol. I’ve had the car remapped stage 1 (incl pops and bangs ) and also had it straight piped and decat followed with a lambert map.
I’m unsure wether my spark plugs are right for this kind of setting so if anyone can shed some light on what to do I’d appreciate that.
Another bit of information: between the range of 2000RPM - 3000RPM, if I hold my throttle at a certain spot anywhere between this range - no matter what gear - I feel a misfire. This will continue to happen as long as I’m holding the pedal in the exact same spot until I either press more down on the pedal or slightly release it. Is this caused by the plugs?
I’ve had servicing done etc and can’t find any other issues it could possibly be.
Thanks in advance
