spark plug lead remover tool for v6 v8

Hi,

Have hunted for ages.. what is the part number of the spark plug lead remover tool for 1997 clk 320 v6 ? .. the angled spanner thing. Any places online you can get one of these ? Had a look on fleabay and only people in usa selling them.

Just use a 17mm open ended spanner. That works. Better still if it is a long one.

I tried, but i cant get a good hold to remove it. I think you really need the special tool thats angled if you dont want to risk damaging anything.

Yeh I seen that but its a bit hit and miss delivery times from usa. You would think someone in uk would have one. I would get one from merc online but dont know part number of it.

Not without a tool handling adjuster 1A:bannana:

Just get a 17mm cranked end round spanner and grind a section out so you can fit it under the plug caps. Lever off - works perfectly.
