Hi all
can any one tell me if they get some of the segments around the Speedo flashing sometimes when going over a bump other time it seems to do it for no reason.
Sometimes it is just a few of the segments other times it can be all or the majority of them that flash.
It has done this ever since I got the car in January but it only does it occasionally, the other thing it does is when cruise is selected the segments on the outside of the Speedo light up from the selected speed to maximum, they say on a while (few mile) and then go out, but sometimes when cruise is selected the segments flash and stay flashing for a while again.
Today the EML came on so took it garage and got the codes read (Snap-On Solaris) and cleared.
I suspect that its probably all related as the codes were
22E0 No vehicle speed signal read, and
Out fault memory of control unit N47-5 (ESP + BAS control unit)
So if anyone can point me in the right direction as to where the Esp+Bas control units are, I would be grateful.
I am hoping that I will find a loose/bad connection that I can make good.
Regards
