Spot the AMG body kit on this one

I can spot an AMG 'style' kit. Do I win a prize? :D

Those poor cars....

In the first ad.... i had a set of those wheels in the mid nineties on a Honda Accord Aerodeck ... looked the nuts .... but not a Merc for Gods sake..... times move on ....

Why , oh why do people insist on changing the grille for one of those colour coded huge star jobbies .... is it just to emphasise to the general public ' Look !! i've got a merc'

The only way to go with a grille mod is Avantgarde ..... keep it OEM ....

dont panic "I" have sent the seller a message telling him it's not an AMG kit, nor a cosworth grille....Bet he would get p***ed off if lots of us message him about it....ooohhh-I'm such a trouble maker

Well, I sent him this message:

Hi-Just to point out your car does not have an AMG kit, nor is that a cosworth grille.I find your advert misleading.

To which he most politely replied:

if youre not interested in the car then why dont you look for another one instead of just sending emails of critisism.
why should anyone listen to what you have to say.youv just been describing it as a 190E. the pictures are there to see so people can make there own minds up.

Me being me:D had to respond with:

Pardon me if you take offence to my comments, which is exactly what they are. I am simply trying to correct you on those two points, as they are incorrect and extremely misleading to potential buyers, albeit false advertising.

I like the big grille star too but think it looks better when the small one is removed. Otherwise it looks kindof too much.

Of course a buyer would be entirely free to reject the car on ebay as "not being as described"

absolutely...I would. Sorry, can't go with the big star...it's just not, err, ummm-no
reason just not my cup of tea.

I don't mind the big star really , but as was mentioned , as long as the little one is removed ... and the grille 'vanes' aren't colour coded ....

If i want to look at a big star i'll buy a telescope

I had some pikey remove the smaller star, but without it how was I supposed to aim the car? ;)

I actually think my colour coded 'vanes' suit the look as they are dark enough to look black and its only up close you realise they are colour coded.

You don't want me to put it to a vote!!

:D

Cheers

Mark.
PS I didn't do this to the car myself, it was already on (Thats my excuse and I'm sticking to it :) )

Go on, lets have a vote .....

Set one up ......
