Lol crookedest street looks soo much nicer with a benzo gliding down it :-)

Cheers for posting these, I love SF.

The E63 going down Lombard St. (nice houses there too eh?) looks really cool and must have sounded nice.

Also like the big bumpered W123.

SF is a fantastic city :bannana:

I could move there tomorrow. :thumb:

The E63 burbled nicely as it crawled down. I was surprised by how few C/E63 I saw. Vast majority were 350s ..

I'm so sad.
I identified the 59 Studebaker (including getting the year right)

Edit: A google search suggests it may be a 57

Great pics, thanks.:thumb: Chucking it down here right now makes me want to catch a plane.

Nice pictures there mate :thumb: i went there last year had a great time

LOL I could have taken those shots!! Our hotel, The Argonaut on Fisherman's Wharf, next to the Hyde and Powell street cable car turn-around and Alcatraz, we went on the evening tour, very atmospheric :thumb:

The first shot I've seen of Alcatraz where it looks so much like a boat! LOVE the Studebaker, and still have a Golden Hawk Dinky (or Corgi?) toy from my childhood.

If anyone is going (Druk!!), there is a great bar/disco at the top of the Sir Francis Drake hotel (beware the trannies and their pimps!), and the last time I went, Sean Penn was causing a bit of a stir there.

Quoit Tower is easily overlooked for some brilliant views, btw, and check out the views from the bar at the top of the Hilton Towers Hotel.

Great city to visit, would go back there for sure. Alot colder than i thought it was going to be, and the parking charges were a rip off.
Nice when the sun was out :bannana:

Those '80s Mercedes Turbodiesels were really popular in the states, it was Mercedes largest diesel market.

Now, every kid in "school" either has one of these, a BMW or a ricer.

Do police cars still have those human sirens Eddie Murphie was talking about in the 80's?

great place. Loved it when i went there a few years back.

watch out for the famous bushman:

no idea if he is still there today, but was when i visited.

Oh yes he is still there. Scared the **** out of my daughter! :D

He catches the Golden Gate tour bus every morning to collect fresh branches. Great character :thumb:
