I have a R230 SL500, the engine & drive is lovely but I do think it could have a bit better throttle response.
The Sprintbooster product has been suggested as fitting the bill but I have had a negative review.

Any thoughts ? good or bad.

Cheers.
Goody.

It always polarises debate: like marmite it's love it or hate it.

From a "technical white paper" on this product..

"Conclusions
The Sprint Booster is a simple amplifier that multiplies the accelerator pedal
sensor signal, making the accelerator pedal more sensitive. It does not eliminate
any significant delay in throttle response, nor does it greatly improve acceleration
figures. It does not change the adaptive throttle control programming of
electronic throttle control vehicles. It does change pedal “feel”. This change in
feel is interpreted by some as improved throttle response, acceleration, and a
change in adaptive throttle control programming. Considering what it actually
does, it is expensive."

I bought one without trying first and loved it on my 230k, sold it to a fellow forum member because it wasn't subtle enough for my 55 AMG and just lit the tyres up.

It would be nice if you could try one before buying.

Buy a heavier right shoe.

Hi Bellow. I'll have one of those Pussy riots your giving away !:bannana:

Ive had one in my 55 amg and currently on my E63 AMG, would not not have it, have to be a bit morwe subtle on the throttle
