Afternoon all,
I'm having issues with my 2004 sprinter 208 cdi. Whenever I rev about 3k it drops and gives me the edc and fuel light on the dash. So when I'm driving it restricts the fuel and then it comes back. It's not a full limp mode but it's like I'm letting off the accelerator completely and then putting it back on.
I had a diagnostic which gave me the code P2007. Someone suggested emptying the fuel filter to check for bits of metal in case it was the pump but I didn't see any. They also run a pressure test while it was plugged in and flat out it was averaging 350 bar with a maximum of around 800 I think.
Any advice on where to look next?
