I have bought a replacement for the near side lower rear door catch as the current one pops open when I hit a bump in the road. The part came with no instructions and I don't want to break anything. Has anyone fitted one of these? I think I need to remove the black plastic to fit it and then refit the plastic but don't want to force it if there is an easy way to do it or if I don't need to remove it at all.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
