Squeaking PANORAMIC SUNROOF

The panorama sunroof on my C Class has developed an annoying squeak when closed - chirps with the body flexing as it moves on the rubber seals
Anyone found a good solution ?

My anti squeak weapon of choice is Finish Line. Actually a spray on "dry" lubricant for mountain bike chains but it comes out a runny liquid (so it runs into small crevices) but solvent quickly evaporates off to leave a dry waxy lubricant. Much better than the cursed WD40 which attracts dirt and drys out quickly. Halfords sell it.

As a spray need to be careful or it goes everywhere, so I spay a bit into an old lid then brush it quickly onto the afflicted part

Mine started doing that and so the dealership lubricated it and the noise went.

Needs doing again though.

By the way,does yours creak and groan when the car's iced up - makes you realise just how much the panoramic roof flexes and why it needs lubrication.

Thanks - yes when the car's iced it really groans until thawed. I tried opening it once - sounded like it was about to break.
