SRS "Control unit activated" (code 10) on W124

Hi folks

I have an 1996 E220 / C124. The SRS dashbord light stays on.
My analog code reader returns a code 10: "Control unit activated" (OBD1 16-pin).
Initially, there were several other error codes which I reset.

Does error code 10 mean that the car was in a crash and the SRS system was activated ?
In the absence of a crash, should I assume that the SRS control units is defective (A0008207226 ?) ?

Does anyone have a trick to reset the error so the light stops lighting ?
