Star Diagnosis info

I have done a braindump of what I know about Star Diagnosis systems. Its in the 'diagnostics' section on www.mercupgrades.com

It only covers systems from about 4 years ago onward, and sadly I lost the copy of one of the system brochures (Basic 1) I had squirelled away, and some of the information on the original 'Compact 1' system.

Its a bit short of photos of the current system, but i'm sure i'll find someone that will let me take photos of theirs and i'll change out the duff ones for nicer ones.
I'm sure i'll remember other stuff, and will add it - of course

This link takes you to loads of Mercedes Training files. Some of it is very simple, but in the 416 Telematics section there is a wealth of information on COMAND, MOST and D2B amongst other things.

There is also information about aircon, traction and braking and loads more.

Explore it at your leisure.

Now all we need is a simple PC application that will talk to COMAND

DAS will do that. The S/W isnt that expensive. Its the multiplexor that hard to obtain/expensive
