Still got issues on 2007 E class estate rear self levelling air suspension.

Hi, sorry I know this is an old (ish) thread now, but it’s very informative. One thing I would like to ask is, with all the information that was learned is, if one or both of the airbags goes down overnight say, can we assume it must be an issue with the airbag or the solenoid on the airbag? I understand that the compressor or pipes etc can have problems inflating the system, but if the airbags only discharge back down the pipe and out of the valve on the compressor, and the pipes don’t hold the pressure once inflated, then any leak while the car is parked up must come from the airbag or solenoid itself, or have I missed something?

Just to clarify, my s211 is dropping on the off side most nights now, whole system was replaced at Mercedes Eastbourne 9 years ago. I fitted another compressor from the bay around 3 years ago. I think the compressor is a bit tired now tbh. The reason for the question above is most things I’ve read say undoing the pipes does not release the pressure from the airbags, therefore any loss of pressure when parked up must come directly from the airbag itself? And not pipes or compressor?

To answer my own question, yes leaking pipes do not cause it to drop,
