Storing my car through winter in my garage

I Loewe Old Skool AMG
I have stored my C43 in the parking garage through winter.
I removed the battery to avoid getting it flat.

I asked my friendly mechanic if it's going to cause my car any problems if I remove my battery for 6 months, my car will be all DEAD!
My mechanic said NO PROBLEMS!
I can't charge the battery in the garage no outlet, I have to take it home.

But there was something else he said!
My mech. asked me if I'm going to store my car in or outside?
I said it's going to be inside during winter.

He told me if I leave my car outside for 6 months without the battery connected, he told me my engine would rust and getting an ugly oxidated surface finish on the aluminum engine!
The battery being connected prevents this oxidation!

Here is my dilemma!
My garage is not heated at all, it's a cold parking deck garage where the air is ventilated inside but the air is humid and moist if you touch something when it's cold.
So am I going to get any form of oxidation on my engine block without the batteri connected to my car?
Otherwise I have to install it again after charging it and remove it after a month or so the re-charge it at home through 5 months of wintertime.

I don't want that ugly oxidated surface on my engine.
Anyone help me out?

Can you get hold of this stuff? - Scottoiler FS365

You spray it all over the engine and it is designed to cover everything in a very thin layer of corrosion inhibitor which should stop any problems over winter. I have used it on my bikes for years, it is great stuff!

FS 365 Corrosion Protector - 1 Litre spray | Lubes, Cleaners & Protectors | Scottoiler (Scotland) Ltd

I don't think there is such thing in Sweden with that brand?
I've never seen it before.

I have an old battery which have 1 cell broken, it still have some juice in it I think, if I charge it and put it in my car during winter as a battery earth connection, can I prevent the surface oxidation that way?
Does a flat battery keep away the oxidation?

Not to my knowledge it doesn't, no.

The Scottoiler fluid is just a corrosion inhibitor, there must be something you can get in Sweden that is similar? Try going to a motor or motorcycle shop and see if they do something similar. There are products like the FS365 out there

when the battery is fully charged and then not being used right after disconnecting it from the charger.
if I check the load with a multimeter, is it going to read 13.6 volts when the battery is 100% fully charged?
battery is not hooked up in my car.

Fully charged batteries will be anything between 12.5 to 14.5V. Best let it settle for an hour before taking a reading. 13.6V sounds reasonably healthy

hi buddy.
I made the reading 13.6 V when my battery still was hokked up charging!
maybe I should disconnect it first and after 1 hour make a new test with my multimeter to get the correct info?
Shuld it read between 12.5 to 14.5 V for a (TUDOR HI TECH - capacity:100 Ah-900A battery)
Thanks

No good taking a reading while it's charging! Yes, let it settle for an hour or so and take another reading
