I have a w202 220 cdi 99 model which has got me scratching my head as to what the problem can be, hopefully some one may have the answer???
At standstill my engine idle sits at approx 1700rpm, yet if i depress the brake pedal it will drop down to a more satisfying 750 rpm, ive tried different permutations with clutch engaged and disengaged, pre heat on and off.
Can anyone advise on what the problem maybe and how to rectify?
