Strange Noise from CLK 200 Kompressor

Hi,

I've got a very strange noise coming from my CLK 200 (2009 '09 Plate). It's so loud I can hear it inside the car and sounds like a helicopter's propeller every time I'm in Drive and press on the accelerator. Any ideas what it could be?

I've uploaded a video onto YouTube with the same title as this thread if anybody wanted to have a listen.

Any help would be much appreciated.

It sounds to me like a leaf stuck in the cooling fan

Checked for leaves in the cooling fan but nothing. ... I went to see the Mechanic yesterday and he couldn't find the fault either. Although the noise only appears after about 16 mins of driving and when the wheels are moving. He said to see if it gets worse and suggested it could be a bearing.

Sounds like torque converter flex plate has started to break up...?????
