It's not problematic (yet) and the best way I can describe it would be as follows: If you were to take a hollow metal cylindrical object, such as a saucepan with no handle, then lightly run a knife around it (like if you were to run a finger around the rim of a wine glass) then that's the noise I can hear if I drive with the window down (and when driving close to solid objects, thus reflecting the noise)
