Have been monitoring an annoying sound that comes from the engine/gearbox for the past 6 months or so,when the revs hit about 2,300(both up & down the auto box) there's a sort of humming/vibrating sound that isn't present anywhere before or after 2,300rpm(makes no difference if the engine is cold or at normal temperature).The auto box atf/filter etc was changed about 6,000 miles ago & the sound wasn't present when i bought the car last october.(2002 w208 clk320 cab,81,000 documented miles)the car is booked in for a b service & mot with mb Guildford on wednesday,so any pointers before i decide whether or not to mention it & adding to the £££
