Stuck in 1st gear

It appears to be a familiar problem.
Lost drive and replaced conductor plate on re starting selecting reverse or drive instigates heavy thump into gear but it will not change out of 1st.
I should have tested solenoids while I had valve body apart ut I didn't!
Any ideas?
Any guidance will be much appreciated thanks

I think the new conductor plate has to be programmed using MB STAR diagnostics before it works

Absolutely spot on local garage charged me £25 to clear codes and now she is running like new.
