Looked a bit outclassed in this company. It's surprisingly large and materials aren't that great I assume to keep the weight down.

I test drove one a couple of weeks ago and yes it's the way forward but not quite there yet. Lacked some soul!

I agree on the materials front - looked around one at BMW Park Lane a few weeks back and my overarching impression was that it would have been better to put the i8 powertrain in a 6-series, but as you say the weight would probably then become an issue.

Yes an early morning drive from Colchester to Brentwood. The noise was great and such a different array of engine notes.

The vanquish was lovely.
