T-Mobile Streaming

Help Please.

I have an unlocked "3" MiFi wireless router. If I use a T-Mobile SIM Card in it I can read email and browse the web, or even look at this forum. The problem I have is limited to T-Mobile.

When I attempt to stream video on Youtube or any other site including here the video starts then promptly stops at around 2%. It is not buffering, it just stops and will not start again unless I disconnect from the MiFi then reconnect. The video will then start and repeat the same scenario at 2%

If I put in a 3 SIM I do not get the issue. The chap I bought the SIM from says it is an unlimited data SIM (ebay jobbie) and there should be no issue. The fact that I can email and browse suggests that it may be a T-Mobile issue?

From what i know with T-mobile they have 2 different data unlimited plans. 1 is for general mobile use, the other is for tethering which is what you are doing with the mi-fi dongle. You need to check which plan the sim is on, as if its the mobile data only this may be the cause of the problem. Saying that i am on tmobile with the standard plan (non tethering) and iv never had any such issues.

does it play the video if you go to the mobile version of the youtube?
