Hi
Yesterday I had to pop to the gym to rescue MrsFS, as the CLK was dead when she tried to start it. Out of the blue dead!
it jump started with no problems, and at home I pulled the battery to pop it on the CTEK.

I noticed it was dated 2013, so eleven years is pretty good going. - don’t fancy gambling on other mishaps in cold weather….

Tayna online had Varta Silver and Bosch S5 within £3 of each other, so I went for the Bosch (slightly higher cca than the varta) as I’ve been very happy with them on other cars.
(and around 30% cheaper than other outlets)

ordered at 16:00…..delivered at 08:30 today, very well packaged.
S5 008 £95. Inc delivery. (That’s a 096 equivalent)

they get two thumbs up from me 👍👍

I have used Tayna a couple of times and been very happy with them. Last time I did click and collect they rang me on the morning to say it was damaged when they picked it., and had no more stock. They had managed to locate one and arranged a courier to get it to them by mid afternoon. Can't fault them for service.

I’ve bought a few batteries from Tayna over the years, and I have found that their after sales support was poor, even though their pre-sales and sales are excellent.

I had a leisure battery fail prematurely, so I contacted them and they did absolutely everything possible to wriggle out of a replacement. I gave up in the end.

I now prefer to buy batteries from somewhere I can physically return them just in case they fail prematurely - which is not uncommon. Costco are excellent in this respect.
