Temp loss of power 2.5 d

Hi
i have a w124 2.5 d k redg,( running on pumped bio 80 / 20 mix )
while driveing up a hill ,suddenly car started to loose power,
i dropped down the gears ,and just made it to top,drove round the corner to my brothers,and descided to go around block again,the car cut out" started o.k
fuel gauge shows just over 1/4 tank ,think reading correct, just put 1/2 tank fuel in car seems to be running fine now,simular thing happend once befor in the summer ,was running full deisel then ,car just lost power but carried on without further problems, thanks

you might have a blocked tank strainer.
