The Airmatic DC Story

Personally, if it's out of warranty then I would opt for an Indy.

You will get MB parts fitted if they are a good Indy.

You will pay less for labour.

You will get time-served MB trained mechanics if they are a good Indy rather than possibly paying huge rates for trainees under supervision.

Indy's depend on repeat business and word of mouth advertising rather than the corporate facade.

I use an Indy .........

Fantastic, thanks. Will definitely check out the indies then - I'm keen to keep the car as 'original' as poss with MB parts. Thanks for the info and for making me welcome to the forum.

Merparts in Port Glasgow are very good too - always use genuine MB parts .

Seconded. No personal experience but these guys come very very highly recommended.

Thanks both. Yes, have searched the forum and good to know that I've got a couple of good quality indies near me. Just a bit annoyed that I threw all my money the way of the dealers on my C Class. To be fair Glen Henderson in particular were friendly and I was always happy with the work on the car. But won't make the same mistake of paying silly prices again when it appears I can get as good / better / cheaper service from the indies. :thumb:. Anyway, looks like I've taken this thread a bit off topic now, so apologies for that!

Merparts always been the place I go- the guys are great and they use 100% genuine parts delivered from the MB dealership! www.merparts.com if you need the link.
