I assume you've never sat inside a 5.5l with iPE exhaust, it's not possible to get a faithful representation of the actual sound from videos because you're missing the low down sound and vibrations too or the super loud midrange
The stock 6.2 e63 does not have a louder tone than the modded iPE , it's a little bit subdued in comparison. I was lucky enough to leave my house on sunday evening and get right behind a 63 reg 5.5 facelift e63 which to be honest is very rare and better yet, to get to drive "behind " it when it wasn't speeding for a good few miles between various traffic lights etc was a treat. Looked stunning
and had a very deep low frequency sound. Not nearly as loud as a 205 c63 with performance exhaust but quite a nice.
I've been looking at mod options and seems like the 212 6.2 doesn't seem to have secondary cats. Back to the drawing board , but will get that done by December I reckon
