Why do you want to sleep in your car so much.:thumb:

I am always open to a large profit! :D

In all seriousness they are not pretty, but they drive lovely and are so comfortable on a long trip. Also, the build quality is just the best of all the Mercedes that I have ever owned.

I think also that they are becoming a lot more sought after recently.
I have heard that the Russians are buying up as many as they can and shipping them home, not sure if this is true..... but kind off makes sense.

I AGREE

the w140 are not pretty, or even close, as they are over weight, bulky etc.

however, they thunk of the doors, the innovation of the car at the time and the sheer class for a car that has not been abused or messed around is such a pull factor..

one of the last solid cars..

plus, the cars key depreciation has already been incurred.

You see, i have a problem.

I pay my taxes, i do my deeds, i am as respectful as i want to be.. but new cars today are resembling the cars of sci fi movies of 10/15 yrs ago.

I dont mind a car flashing a light to tell me to put the seat belt on, and then going off after 30 seconds when i havent, but i cant tolerate being dictated to by my car... in terms of a beep until it is put on.

Sure safety is a concern, but atleast allow our selves to use our own brain to decide what is right... im sure most would wear it, but beeping and indirect annoyance is one thing i can not stand.. hence the appeal of the slightly less intrusive cars is growing day by day...
