Time to mod the beast

Mods were overdue on the 55 so off i went.

Apart from the usual SB/alloy pedals ive opted for the CL type grille painted in black and of course the E63 rear spoiler.

Opinions welcome........

Lovely car! Bet it makes an amazing noise.

Not sure about the grille to be honest, but the spoiler looks good.

Looks FANBLOODYTASTIC as it is. Why bother?
I love the grille BTW.

There is a line, once crossed, you do actually make the car look worse.
Often, its not WHAT you do, its what you DONT do that marks out the best cars from the also rans.
Leave well alone bodywise and spend the money on invisible improvements like engine and/or brakes/suspension.

This is a hard one because it already looks the buisness and even mod ideas are difficult, I usually dont like the big star grill but it dont look too bad on the E Class. Facelift rear light clusters maybe, would give it a E63 AMG look as you alredy got the E63 AMG boot lip spoiler ?

Nice car, loving the rear spoiler too. Although it looked fine on the W203, I honestly don't think the grille suits the W211.

Any more mods planned?

No to the grille - the spoiler is subtle .

Standard alloys are 18s but im opting for 19s very soon, facelift rear clusters are also on the menu as is lowering the car via the star machine about an inch all round, that should round things up for now as im also comteplating a stage 1 upgrade chip/pulley/green filters.

My old boss had an E55 estate and I just laughed when he took me for a spin the speedo went round as quick as my rev counter (I had a Bmw 330 at the time)
