How's this for timing. Been out giving Edna a good clean, polishing creaming the leather etc - full works. Started at 6.00am in very pleasant perfect conditions. Just finished and the rain starts:rolleyes: :D

Oh well - at least she's shiny bright clean:D Trust the bloody weather man to get it dead right:mad:

Raining here right now .....

Just got in after sponging the car off....... no leathering for me today !! :bannana:

Believe me or not but it is not raining in S Wales, has not rained at all today, but there again I have not polished my car.

Well after the little shower this morning - it's been lovely here:D :D much nicer and warmer than expected  but it keeps threatening to rain:( Tomorrow does not look good which is one of the reasons why I wanted to go and get Edna done early while I knew the weather was oK.;)

See mad - but cunning too;) :D

Good girl Pammy... :) Looks like we have somthing else in common as well!!! Shame you could not pop Edna into a garage as soon as you had finished to stop rain getting to her.

I wanted to give mine the Zymol treatment since last w/end but the rain stopped me and it too is also forcasted to rain here tomorrow as well...

I partially Diamondbrited mine this morning. Did not complete the task as I ran out of the product  Just won some more from fleabay. Got to have my baby clean for next weekend. Whats the general concensus of opinion about going over the end result in Zymol? Oh and its still sunny here. :bannana: :bannana:

I think it should be ok to give her the Zymol treatment as Zymol is not abrasive at all on the paintwork. First time you do Zymol you have to HD Cleanse the car (and afterwards apply HD Cleanse every six months) which just basically cleans the paintwork of blemishes/minor scratches and helps the wax bond onto the paintwork better.

I doubt that I will have enough time on my hands now to give my baby the Zymol treatment for the GTG becasue of the rain tomorrow and will probably just have to settle for a shampoo wash/leather job... :(

Ian, get some Harlywax....... ;)

My Harly wax arrived at last but can't try it out :( Ian - I wouldn't use any polish or combined wax on top of Diamond Brite - just build up some layers of a Carnouba based wax as opposed to a synthetic like Meguiars NXT.
