Not long bought my Mercedes. just had a checkover in the boot to find where the spare wheel should be there is an AdBlue tank (ffs) and next to it is the towing eye and a tub of gunk, but no pump.

I'm assuming due to the above pump there's no chance of getting a spacesaver wheel bought, so need to replace the missing pump. Before i do though i'd like to make sure i get the right one, so it fits in the compartment and connects to the tub of gunk i have!

Can anyone help? with a model number and/or picture of what pump it should be?

its a 65 plate E class, estate

Thanks

Have you tried contacting your local MB dealership?

nope. only just noticed and the first thing i tend to do when buying a new car is join a marquee specific forum :)
Well instead of being sarky take the car back to where you bought it from if it was a dealer and ask for the pump, if not a dealer go to one and buy a pump.

It doesn't have to have a Mercedes logo on the pump either.
Any decent one from a motor factors will do the job.
It will probably be a lot cheaper too.

deffo would be a lot cheaper, just wasnt sure if a specific one would be needed for the gunk i have, not really looked at the bottle yet. as long as it fits that and fits in the compartment in the boot guess it doesnt matter too much.

car was bought from a local car dealer, are they obliged to provide one if its missing? i actually thought not, hence not bothering giving them a call yet. but will do if i have a leg to stand on

Always good to get a benchmark price for a part from the dealers, just so you can check if you are getting a good deal elsewhere.
MB prices can sometimes be very competitive, plus you know you're getting the correct part (with two years warranty)

Hi
I am not sure whether you can use a generic air compressor with the slime.
Are you sure the compressor is not there already? When I bought my E350 Cab I didn't think I had one but it was stowed in such a way it wasn't obvious thats what it was.
Either way the one that was on my car is the one in the link below,
Do check the date on your slime as it has an expiry date on it,
