Had a rude awakening re the trade-in value on my C Class (72K miles) The words negative equity ring a bell? Don't ask! So going to keep hold of it for the time being (not that it is any great hardship - I really do like the car) rather than be silly with finance. Being sensible and all growed up is a pain!

Will need to get some roof rails and someone suggested Thule - don't suppose anybody has any surplus to requirements? LOL

Sorry to hear that ... I'm sure Sean aka C240sport97 was selling some roof bars a while back, but expect they are gone now ... you never know though !

I think there are some on eBay at the moment. I'll try and find them for you...

Yep there are lots. Go on to eBay and search for 'Mercedes thule'
