Took my life in my hands today, and ventured into Lancashire for work.

As I'd heard of a shortage I brought supplies to bribe the natives

Ian managed to fit me in at very short notice. Did a STAR test, had a ride in the car and suggested it might benefit from a gearbox oil change. I'd planned to have this done at some point so readily agreed. It was certainly ready for it.

Done there and then, for a very reasonable price I had silky smooth gear changes all the way back, which is more than can be said for the traffic.

I will be back!

Ian is one of the good guys IMO.

Thanks David. However trying to bribe me with a twin pack of Hobnobs is not going to work in the future . Yes they are in short supply in Lancashire due mainly to Trapperjohn munching them in the kitchen (A secret Hobnob muncher is our John.) Lorraine is not far behind either. Back to your car. A 210 with minimal rust , forgot to photograph it for posterity. Drives really nice seeing as it came from Doncaster. Not a clone AMG is it. Were they not built in Donny in some garden shed?. It will be a pleasure to see you return at some time. Thanks for the post.
