I think he is a good entertainer that never lets the truth interefere with a good story. His humour will always rub some folks up the wrong way, but I take with a huge fist full of salt any of his comments and just enjoy listening to his banter.

Just look how he criticises Mercedes-Benz, and then out of all the cars he could buy, he tends to regularly buy what marque????????

That to me sums up his credibility,

You mean his incessant slating of diesel cars, then buying a Toyota diesel for his Wife which was a replacement for a .......Toyota diesel.........

This just goes to show Jeremy really isn't as stupid as he would lead us to believe.

Good entertainment though.

He is always criticising Mercedes-Benz for their poor standards of reliability. If he still persists in buying the same brand even though he has sampled the best of the rest, then I think what he doesn't say, speaks far, far louder than the humorous dribble that comes from between his lips. I enjoy his humour, I enjoy watching the program, but I would dearly love to see a serious five minute review of a vehicle that takes in seating, control layout, comfort, accessories etc.

Throwing a car around a circuit is good fun, but it does not highlight what I want to know when I buy a new vehicle. All modern vehicles have adequate road holding, braking etc etc. The interiors are the nitty gritty and I want to see MORE of this.

I am a fan of Jeremy Clarkson, but what he says must never be taken to seriously. What was it he said about the COMAND in the CLS?? Something like the only points of interest are golf clubs (and a few other 'snobbish' locations)
