Hopefully soon a Merc !!!
That sounds like the radiator glycol issue. E class of that age are prone to that fault due to poor radiators leaking into the ATF.

If it's had the fault it needs a gearbox rebuild and new radiator.

Hi

Have you read the listing from this guy?? he professes his innocence toooooo much for my liking. It says he has 100% feedback but when you look at the details of his feedback there is at least 1 negative.

Our cars are changed at 3 years some of the E classes have 200,000 miles on them and we will run them for another 12 months. So by that he means 100,000 miles a year?? Suppose it is possible but he is just too much blah blah blah. Oh and he doesnt have any service history but i have the mot's?

Clown in my opinion

I must admit I felt the same, he says his car is not part of the fleet, but mentions it anyway, and how everything is kept tip top. Maybe he thinks that by association the business and his car will get muddled.
