whats the real benefit of traction control
should i leave it on all the time???

It can be very useful just when you least expect it.
just leave it on otherwise you could end up going expensively backwards.

I would leave it on.... I was going round a slip road roundabout with some unseen standing water. I normally take a wide line to put the power down as there is a hill just before you merge. Anyway water + rear wheel drive = power sliding hairyness! Drifted around the corner missing a tree. TC works.
