It has been suggested that we meet there at 6.30am.
We can grab a quick bite to eat and a coffee and then aim to leave South Mimms at 7.00am latest.
This should get us to Trax by 8.00am

These are the timings so far.
But if someone jumps in an days they need to be at Trax earlier than 8.00am, then we may end up meeting at 6.00am at South Mimms.

We'll obviously keep this thread informed of any changes to the above plan.

Nothing wrong with Tesco's fuel, they are the only petrol distributor in the UK that do a 99 octane fuel with their Momentum brand. I only ever put that or Vpower in the R8 and always either in the C63.

For those that are "souf of the river" and using the M25, it is free to cross the Dartford toll from 10pm to 6am

Another year gone by and its TRAX time again,

last few years we have had a massive turnout from MBclub , the weather has been questionable but the calibre of cars has been high and a nice place to arrange a club gtg and meeting lots of new faces as well as old.

To try and get a good stand place as always i try and arrange this early on

I will be organising a club stand again so that you park your car in the showground on display with all the other cars (if anything it saves the long walk from the public car park)

-Advance club Tickets inc car pass for the stand (if needed) £16 via me(£21 at the door) under 14`s free
(optional bits)
Track time is available but at £35 per 15 mins is not worth it esp with some of the drivers out there! Save the money for Rickys goodwood events!

I have to submit the form by mid July, so i need payment for any tickets by then, i will post them to you as soon as I get them

All are welcome modified or not!

PS im not affiliated with the show, I just think its a good day out, a chance to see some amazing motors (and some not so amazing) a good mix.

you dont need a merc to come mate, just jump in any car and drive down! use the show car pass to get in the show ground and if its a banger park it with the saxo`s lol

If you seriously cant make it mate, there are a few people asking for spare tickets, still time to post them to them and get your cash back.

I know what could I do it is desperate times (no money ).

I want to come still with the misses but my other car is a family 2002 ford galaxy banger and don't really want to drive that there lol ,

I might look at hiring a car for the day .

seriously mate, just come down, park up and enjoy the day!

if you dont want to park in the showground, park in the car park, but it is hell of a walk!

would waste money hiring cars mate esp if cash is a problem!

UPDATE:

just had an email through from the TRAX team and unfortunately the car cleaning and detailing service will not go ahead.

I think what they were planning was unfeasable, too big an event and too many cars.

Looks like there are going to be some heavy rain spells over Friday and Saturday but early indications are suggesting it may clear up by Saturday afternoon....
