Turning down TA volume on comand

<div class="bbWrapper">Im don't think it can be done but no harm in asking. Can the volume on traffic announcements be turned down lower than the set bar volume. Any other audio unit ive ever had in a car you can adjust the TA volume full range why does the command only have set volume levels. Its really stupidly loud especially when im listening to the CD changer.<br /> <br /> Dave</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">When the next announcement is in progress simply adjust the volume. It will adjust the announcement volume and not the source volume, whether that be CD, Aux or even Tuner.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">OK just dropped my car off and on the journey there had 3 traffic announcements. So tried turning down volume while they were on and all it does is turn down the overall volume on the source your on exactly as I said it does and did on my SLK as well. My unit is a NTG 1 perhaps on later units it does turn the TA down but deffo does not on mine. Its really annoying as it comes in very loud.<br /> <br /> Dave</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">My understanding is that adjusting the volume whilst an announcement is being made only works on Sat Nav commands not Traffic Announcements.<br /> <br /> I thought there was a sub menu somewhere for changing the TA? From memory, there's only a limited range of volumes available, something like 3 discrete levels.<br /> <br /> Do you have some kind of audio settings menu?</div>
