Got three tyres from Tyreshopper.com via National about two weeks ago for my wife's car. At the time, we took their tyre insurance policy for each tyre. Lo and behold, today my wife had a puncture in one of the tyres. After rescuing her, we drove to the local National workshop to see what they'd say. Straight away, no quibbles, yes, we'll replace it with a new tyre, as it had a screw through the shoulder.

Most impressed by their service.

The price that National normally charge for their tyres is normally double than buying elsewhere so they are not giving anything away.

ATS also do a reasonable tyre insurance. Sliding scale depending on tread left. IIRC £12 a tyre

I've always found Tyre Shopper to be pretty good for price.
