Hi Guys,

Had my car serviced this week, the mechanic noted one front tyre was down to zero tread and the other 3 were about done!
So got Event Tyres to come and put 4 new Michelin Pilot Sport 3's on.....at no small cost  (interestingly he said avoid Conti's!)
That was yesterday, today drove the car a couple of miles and tyre pressure Warning lit up dash in red ....with Check Tyre pressures.
Did this with my digital inflator and although no 2 tyres had exactly the same pressure they were all within limits stated on the fuel flap, at 38 ish psi rear and 32 ish psi front, adjusted so they are exactly 38 / 32, will see what happens tomorrow.

Any ideas?

If the pressures are all correct just reset the tpms?

In my defence I check the depths everytime I wash the car (and thats most weeks), they were all legal, but close to done. The front tyre that was finished I should have spotted. I drive 1500 - 2000 miles a month so brakes & tyres are very important to me.

The rear tyres were put on 15k ago but were Budget tyres! (Arrowspeed), I should have changed them....or took the car back to MB and demanded a decent set of rear tyres.

Will be more vigilant in future:thumb:

TPMS will always need resetting after changing tyres.

Cheers, have looked on the computer, gives me message about reset.....but what button is the R button?....or am i being thick! (not for the first time!!!) and its obvious!

It's the same button you use to reset the mileage trip, bottom left of the instrument binnacle. Press it while the TPMS message is displayed.

As a rule it resets whatever display you're looking at.
