Tyre recommendations S500 (W220)

Hi All,

The time has come for some new rubber on the rear, so I'm looking for some justified recommendations if anyone's got some.

Currently riding on Dunlop SP Sport 9000 , and the same on the front actually.

Size Rear: 265/R18/40 97Y
Size Front: 245/ZR18/45 96Y

Any suggestions...?

Any preferred sources for local or mobile fitting (Kent/Surrey border)...?

edited to add: anyone think that running different rubber on the front & back will make a difference...? Just thinking that I might go Michelin Pilot Sport to cope with the extra wear (5litre V8 !) and stick with the Dunlops for the next change as they're significantly cheaper for the size.

Just bought a set of Conti sports contact so far so good ride better and quieter than my old Dunlops

think I had those on my last "S". My one recollection about them was that they didn't seem to last long on the rear, but were excellent on the front, and that was on a 320.

They are what i have on my SClass am very happy have tried other makes and have gone back to the Dunlops, try Martin on 01276 856846 he is near Woking. I i've used him for some time very competitive.
