Uh oh, oil on the drivewy

As the title suggests, a few small patches of what looks to be oil. Not especially rich in colour, and about the size of the palm of your hand. The car is due for service soon, but what reckon?...a seal on the way out?

difficult to say without knowing where its coming from or the colour of the oil.. could just be a bit kicked out of a breather or it could well be a seal gone somewhere..

have you checked all the levels?

Not sure I can get under? I would try, but the lady has nicked it for the day

The oil level has dropped, but no more than usual. Also, it doesn't look like it's a constant leak. The car has been parked the other way for a while with no leak

oh well i wouldnt worry too much then, it maybe from when it was filled and a bit dribbled down the side and you have only just noticed?
