orginal problem " temp gauge going from zero to 120c even when switching on from cold and elec fan running at top revs, so car was in limp mode".
So bought new temp sensor (MB £8.64 inc ) this stopped the fan cutting in and now runs at 80c, but still not running right and no kick down, so bought new air cleaner and new MAF ( Lucas parts £62 inc in total ), and thats done the trick she's back to normal (touch wood) and better.
