S212
Hi
This is my first post on here hoping someone can help ?

I’ve just bought a Mercedes S212 Avantgarde 250 model and 2010 year , it has original wheels I think there 17 inch however I wanted to upgrade them to something a little more classy/ beefy but not sporty. So any suggestions please 🙏

also is there different size wheels on back then front ?

I’ve attached a picture of the car

Grandad!!

19s look great on the 212....looking for some to replace my 18s AMG ones at some point. 212 models looks like they are riding on caster wheels on anything 17 or less. The difficulty is finding some bigger than don't look sporty. Cant stand the mono block looking Merc wheels myself on anything as "new" as a 212. I'll be after 507 type design ones with Y shaped spokes as I like to be able to see the brakes and they make cleaning so much easier......but Im sure you will find them too sporty.

My car does have 18 inch staggered AMG wheels (wider rims and tyres at the back)...and Id like to keep it like that for cosmetic reasons if nothing else.

This is what I have now as mine is a Sport and came with them....staggered and 18 inch.........did not like the black to start with....but its growing on me and they don't show the brake dust much. Next will be silver though I think.

W207 Staggered 18” AMG Alloys - Refurbished | Classifieds - Mercedes Parts or general for Sale

These are my favourite 212 alloy. 18s.
Sold, but just for reference and some good pictures in the ad.

Originally they were diamond coated, but the design near the centre of the wheel is a poor match for diamond coating, as the small holes near the centre have an acute angle, sharp returning edge, which results in lacquer lift and white corrosion under the clear lacquer.

A fully powder coated set is a much better option for any alloy with the small hole near the centre of the wheel on each of the spokes/arms.

I've got these, and I acquired a set of the same 17s you have to run winter tyres, and swap each spring and late autumn.

They might have sold in the intervening two plus years.........
I know. The seller had another listing for them before they were refurbished, and then listed them as sold in that one.
I put in my post they were sold. It's just an example of what in my opinion I like. It's only an idea of what could be available.

Would recommend 18s over 19s on an estate.
I have 19s on a coupe
