Hi chriscls, while your waiting for your car diagnosis let us know your location so forum members can point you towards a good indie, hopefully its not going to be a serious issue, and has been said the stealers can sometimes replace things without an issue, a merc indi specialist with star as a minimum is what I would look for regarding a second opinion.

Mine was the front airmatic leg, was leaking. I changed the pair oppose to just the one that needed doing!

One would hope a visual inspection and diagnostics on STAR.

Given their approved used car setup seems to be "wash the car and tick some boxes on some paper", who knows...

well in light of the issue currently, I am blaming it partly on the lack of attention suspension received during servicing just 1 month ago. As a joe bloggs, I am certain these types of issues simply do not occur, there must be a chain of events and even the recovery guy has spotted oily residue around the front right wheel arch. I am hoping if its a 1k bill, they will foot at least the VAT.
