Urgent help please

Hi
My pan roof is going crazy, it won't shut and the blind cannot be closed,I've tried the reset procedure in the handbook with no joy, any ideas before i get raped by my dealer??

On my CL there was a small crank like tool supplied with the vehicle. This was to be used to close the sunroof should an electrical problem be encountered. The aperture for the handle was under the interior lamp cover. Not at all sure if this applies to your model or not. Should be covered in the handbook.

Dont know what year your car is. In my W211 it says the key is in the glove box - the below is from the manual but won't copy and past very well a bit back-to-front, sorry. Good luck.


Opening/closing in an emergency
Power tilt/sliding sunroof* or panora-
i
ma roof with power tilt/sliding panel*
Turn crank 3 slowly and smoothly.
You can open or close the tilt/sliding sun- roof or tilt/sliding panel manually should an electrical malfunction occur.
The tilt/sliding sunroof or tilt/sliding panel must be synchronized after being operated manually (�� page 225) or
(�� page 229).
The tilt/sliding sunroof or tilt/sliding panel drive is located behind lens 1 of the inte- rior overhead light.
1 Cover
�� Remove the SmartKey from the starter
�� raise roof panel/sunroof at the rear �� Turn crank 3 counterclockwise to:
switch.
�� lower roof panel/sunroof at the rear
�� Press on cover 1 in direction of the ar- row to release it.

2 Hole 3 Crank
�� Take crank 3 out of the glove box. �� Insert crank 3 through hole 2.
�� Turn crank 3 clockwise to:
�� slide roof panel/sunroof closed
�� slide roof panel/sunroof open
