Until about the 1980s medical and dental professionals didn’t use gloves…… and survived. That’s not just excrement but all sorts of bodily fluids!

Those were the days where it was real hands-on the job, close contact, no gloves wokery, etc, etc -

Yes the hands-on and close contact way was much better. These days no one ever sees a surgeon or a dentist - they all work from home.
